Who We Are
RCHOICE was founded by a Filipino-Canadian mom – Rose Nograda.
Back in 2015, I was working as an Immigration Consultant and began with catering for small parties and families alike from different walks of life. From September 2019 – 2021, I was the Snack Coordinator and Lunch Supervisor at St. John Bosco Catholic School. With a dream of entrepreneurship, I decided to venture out on my own with a unique idea and cook with LOVE. I decided to open a small business serving my community that would allow me to spend more time with my children.
I took the first steps, introduced RCHOICE and started our hot lunch service at St. John Bosco Catholic School.
Our goal is to service our neighbourhood schools. I have built a company based on doing things right, with a commitment to high quality, sincere customer service and extreme organization.
Our mission is to ensure that the students at St. John Bosco will look forward every single day to celebrate lunch with delicious food.
Our company has many years history of providing catering services. We have established not only a brand name but a reputation in the market. We have been providing fine dining services since 2015, bringing a “different taste” with a vast range and variety of foods for families, friends and guests to enjoy. With us, you can be confident in a professional event and an everlasting smile on your guests’ faces.
RCHOICE is a family-owned-operated and we put a lot of care into everything that we do.
To keep our service fresh, I am constantly innovating, exploring how I can do things better and striving to deliver a better customer experience. I believe it’s important to always ask, “What can we improve?”
We make sure that our credentials are always up-to-date:
- RCHOICE is a certified premises and kitchen approved by the Toronto Public Health
- Public food Handling Certified
- First Aid & CPR trained
And to demonstrate our commitment to excellence, I have built our business while having two children between the age of 16 & 12! My children are my greatest supporters and critics. They keep me on my toes!

Important Information
Schools
We will work closely with schools to customize a program that works best for each individual school community. Our goal is to do what we do best and run our program smoothly and efficiently, with minimal interruption to the school.
By participating in the Hot Lunch Program, RCHOICE offer a valuable service to the school community by giving $1.00 per order as a form of donation.
We run a full service Hot Lunch Program and handle all aspects of the program including:
- Design and provision of menus & flyers
- Administration
- Customer service – handling all parent inquiries
- Payment collection
- Delivery & distribution
- Value-added services – to be announced
Dedicated RCHOICE Representative
Our representatives arrive at the school prior to lunch time. We assemble the lunches to keep them hot and have them sorted and ready for the children before the lunch bell rings.
We oversee the distribution of the lunches and provide assistance to the children. We are at the school until all lunches have been picked up and all children have their lunches. And we always have an extra lunch on hand just in case!
Delivery & Distribution
We have a trained representative on site and we work with you to develop the best solution to suit the needs of your school.
Special Lunch Days
- RCHOICE does NOT run the Hot Lunch Program when the school has special lunch days, such as Pizza Day
- RCHOICE will make the best efforts to communicate changes to special lunch days, but it is the parent’s responsibility to consult their individual school calendar and place lunch orders.
- RCHOICE does NOT automatically create orders for customers if the school has changed a special lunch day.
- Orders can be completed online on our website. Orders can be placed, edited or cancelled up to 10am the previous business day.
- Menus can also be texted to RCHOICE at 647-8937458. Orders must be received at by 10am the day before you wish to order lunch (on Friday for Monday orders). We recommend you phone our Customer Service to confirm your text/number was received in good order and processed for the day you wish to order lunches.
- For any assistance required in completing orders please call RCHOICE at 647-893-7458 or 416-654-1660 during business hours Monday – Friday: 8AM – 7:00PM | Saturday: 10AM-7:00PM | Sunday: Closed
Cancellations
- Cancellations can be made online until 10am the previous day (Friday for Monday orders) with NO charge.
- Please note that we are now accepting cancellations by EMAIL at 4rchoice@gmail.com
- Cancellations must be made the night before on the delivery day.
- Please send an email with the child’s name, school and date of cancellation.
- Lunches which cannot be cancelled can be picked up from school at lunch time. Please call the office to let us know that you will be picking up the lunch. Any lunches NOT picked up at lunch time will be returned to RCHOICE or placed in the school fridge.
- If you paid by cheque or e-transfer, you will have a credit towards your cancelled lunch to use towards future orders.
- The school does not notify us of field trips or other special events. If the lunch is not cancelled you will be charged.

We accept payments via E-transfer at 4rchoice@gmail.com
